I recently tried out the new Kia K3, and honestly, the exterior design hasn’t changed much from the previous model. It still carries Kia’s signature styling, especially with the signature “tiger nose” grille, which is now split into two sections. The upper part is narrow with a honeycomb pattern, connected to sharp-looking headlights with LED strips shaped like arrows — a sporty and stylish touch. The lower grille is trapezoidal, which makes the front look wider, and there are air vents on each side that add an aggressive edge. From the side, the car looks clean and modern with blacked-out side mirrors and window trim. The wheels have a blade-like design — sharp and eye-catching. At the rear, there’s a subtle black ducktail spoiler and a full-width LED light bar connected by a red strip — a nice upgrade over the previous split taillights.
Inside, it has a sleek, all-black interior that feels refined and well put together. It features a sporty flat-bottom steering wheel, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a floating infotainment screen. The screen itself looks simple but functions well and is easy to use. The seats are well-stitched with ventilation holes in the backrest, which really help in hot weather, and they’re quite comfortable overall. The rear seat space is generous — I had around 2 to 3 fists of legroom, and the floor is nearly flat, so even three people in the back won’t feel cramped. The rear seats offer good support too, with a deep cushion that helps you find a comfortable position easily.
The model I drove had a 1.4L turbo engine, which is noticeably better than previous versions, paired with a 7-speed DCT. Acceleration between 30–80 km/h is solid, and the throttle responds quickly. After 90 km/h, there's a slight delay before the full power kicks in. Braking is smooth and confident at high speeds, but at low speeds, the pedal feels a bit soft at first — takes a little getting used to.
Overall, it's a comfortable and enjoyable car to drive, and I think it’s a great option for anyone looking for a sporty yet practical daily car.

It’s been about two months since I bought the car, and I wanted to share my experience. First off, the space is excellent — the 2.9-meter wheelbase is almost the size of a C-Class, and both the front and rear seats are very comfortable. Rear passengers have plenty of room whether it’s a short trip or a long one. As for fuel consumption, I’ve driven around 1,000 km, mostly within the city and not on highways, and it averages between 8 to 9 liters per 100 km, which is great for a 2.0L engine.
The exterior looks fantastic. The car is nearly 5 meters long, which gives it real road presence, and the quad exhaust tips at the back give it a sporty touch. The dual 12.3-inch interior screens add a nice techy vibe, and if you go for the red-and-black interior, it looks really sporty and stylish. The rotary gear shifter also adds a premium feel.
In terms of performance, I just got my license so I don’t drive fast, but I did try Sport mode on a countryside road and was honestly surprised by the acceleration — the power delivery is strong, even more than I personally need. Handling is easy and responsive, and gear shifts are smooth and barely noticeable.
The car comes with solid safety features. One time in a narrow street near home, someone suddenly stepped out in front of me — the car immediately gave a warning and braked on its own. I was going around 40 km/h and was honestly shocked at how quickly it reacted. The ventilated and heated seats are also super useful — cooling in summer, heating in winter, and once you try it, you’ll appreciate the difference.
Sound insulation is great, especially in the front thanks to the double-pane windows. You start hearing the engine a bit after 60 km/h, but it’s not annoying. My only complaint is that the seats are a bit firm, and headroom is slightly tight for anyone over 180 cm tall.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with the car and I think Kia has done a great job with this model.

When it comes to driving, the first thing I noticed was the seating position. Even though it's a small SUV, it really gives you that proper SUV driving feel — not like some compact crossovers that feel like they’re stuck somewhere between a sedan and an SUV. You sit higher up, and it's comfortable, which is something I personally appreciate.
The interior design and driving experience are smooth and comfortable. The steering wheel is a good size and adjusts its weight based on your speed — light and easy in the city, but it gets heavier on the highway, giving you more confidence at higher speeds.
The car offers two engine options: a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine, and the one I drove today — a 1.4L turbo paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Fuel efficiency is excellent — I got around 6.2L per 100 km, which is great especially if your daily driving is mostly in the city.
It has a front MacPherson strut and rear torsion beam suspension setup. Driving it around town felt smooth and refined. The throttle and brakes are responsive and balanced, making the car easy to get used to — nothing feels odd or takes time to adapt to.
In traffic or slow driving situations, it performs really well. There's no jerkiness or lag from the gearbox, which was something I was concerned about, since some dual-clutch systems can be clunky — but not this one. On faster city roads, it switches to smart driving mode, where the car starts adapting to your driving style. If you press the gas a bit more, it responds well. But if you’re in a hurry and want quicker response, switching to sport mode is the better option.
I took it on the highway, and when driving over road joints or minor bumps, the suspension handled them perfectly. There was no annoying bouncing — the car felt stable and composed.
Overall, my impression is that the car leans slightly toward a sporty feel but still stays comfortable. If you have a small family, travel often, or go to places like mountains or hilly areas, the 1.4 turbo engine is more than enough. But if your use is light — just daily commuting or city errands — then the 1.5L engine will do the job just fine and save you more on fuel.

I had been browsing car websites for a while and looked at models like Jetour. When the compact version of the Sportage was released, I was really drawn to its bold design—but once they announced the price, I knew it was out of my budget.
So I went back to looking at cars like the Jetta VS5 and BinYue. I wasn’t in a hurry because I was using a friend’s car, but when he moved to another emirate, I had no choice but to buy my own. I consulted with my family and started visiting dealerships.
I was planning to go with the Jetta, but at the dealership, I saw the compact Sportage in front of me, tried it out, and really liked it. It felt right, and the price fit my budget, so I went ahead and decided to buy it. After some back-and-forth with the salesman, we closed the deal.
I'm 173 cm tall, and the front seat is spacious—I have good headroom—and the back is very comfortable. You can stretch your legs easily, and the trunk space is more than enough. Honestly, it exceeded my expectations.
Sound insulation, though, is an issue! Tire noise is noticeable, and if you open the windows, you get a strong wind sound. Even the engine gets loud when you press the gas. Some people mentioned water leaks or strange noises, but I haven’t experienced that so far. I did get a bit of fog inside one of the headlights.
I haven’t driven it much yet, but the company gave me six free services over three years, plus a AED 500 workshop voucher. The car has a 2.0L engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission—it’s been smooth and hassle-free so far.
The power is enough for me. In sport mode, it responds quickly and drives smoothly. Of course, everyone dreams of a V8, but I like driving calmly—I’m not the type to race off at traffic lights.
As for fuel consumption, it’s still too early to judge—I’ve only done about 100 km. The average so far is 10L/100km, and the best I got was 8.1. Some say they’ve managed 5.9, but realistically I think around 7 is more typical.
There’s no such thing as a perfect car—just pick what you like and can live with. If the design and features work for you and the price fits your budget, go for it. The most important thing is that you’re comfortable with your choice.
